summary - 'Craft Rationalists' are not cooperating because they aren't networked

Problem Description -

Every person who is trying to build the rocket is doing so on their own because the space enthusiasts aren't paying attention. The engineers are hashing out the mechanical properties of various aluminuim alloys which is boooorinnnnngggggg compared to shiny new space metaphors.

Stuff like Promethea's crypto startup presents a challenge for the Diaspora Project Map, because I'm just not sure where to draw the line. If it's a business set up by 'rationalists' that hires rats as their core team, does that make it a community project? Kinda, but it seems like I might be providing the wrong incentives to list it in the same way I'd list LessWrong 2.0.

To this, I would also add the issue that the "non-craft-yet" people aren't aware of what the "craft rationalists" are actually doing. Promethea's crypto startup is evidence in favor of being able to use exegesis-type-people, but from the POV of the average "knowledge but no application" rat, there's a desire for contributing to something useful but a lack of awareness of existing projects that they can help with.
